Set in 375 acres of picturesque North Yorkshire countryside, Flamingo Land Resort creates a truly unforgettable experience for Guests of all ages. Our Bartenders  are the forefront of our venues, ensuring that everyone has a great time whilst visiting or staying at Flamingo Land. We open our doors early in the morning and sometimes don’t close them until late at night, so we offer great flexibility and a range of shift patterns.  As a part of our Bar Team, you will engage with Guests and work at pace as our venues get pretty busy in peak times. You will need to ensure that the bar, front of house &  back of house are cleaned and maintained in accordance with company guidelines throughout the day.  You will interact with a variety of people; both Guests and all of our fantastic Team Members, therefore a good level of conversational English is essential.  Working for Flamingo Land is rewarding and our Team is consistently maintaining our high standards and 5 star health and safety ratings.  Progression into Bar Supervisor roles are also available. Previous experience working within a similar setting is desirable, although full training given.

Hours: Most of our seasonal roles are available on a full time and part time basis. Typically a full time role is up to 40 hours a week, our part time roles are often 16 to 24 hours a week in term times increasing during university, college and school holidays. Our busiest trading days are weekends, holidays and bank holidays therefore it is to be expected we will need our Team to be available to ensure our Guests have the experience they deserve. Transport: We provide on site free parking.  As these roles often finish late in the evening, public transport is not available and therefore having access to your own transport is highly beneficial. The Tees Valley bus will have stops at Stockton, Middlesbrough, Grangetown, Redcar, Saltburn, Brotton, Skelton & Guisborough. Accommodation: There is a good range of local accommodation providers within our immediate vicinity.  Flamingo Land does not provide any onsite staff accommodation. Benefits:

Interviews for the new season will begin in February 2025.  You will be contacted by our friendly Recruitment Team who will conduct an initial telephone chat with you and if successful, you will be invited to attend a face to face interview with one of our Department Managers. Interviews are typically 30 minutes and you will be asked a few competency based questions. If all goes well, you will join us  for two days of induction, where we will get you Resort Ready! Induction days are fun filled, full of facts about the Resort and will prepare you to work at the Resort. Roles will begin in March and run through until 2 November 2025.
